There is a small, but good debmake howto by Jaldhar Vyas on
http://www.braincells.com/jaldhar/make_package.html  I am also working on
a longer version of easy-to-read doc.  Unfortunately, school is not
letting me spend too much time on it :(.  Anyway, it's moving along, will
post the URL when it's ready for a first beta :)
