Ok, I agree. I plan to do a major revision of the policy manual right
after 1.3 is released. (I want to change the structure of the document and
I have a long list of requests for changes.) Perhaps this would be a good
time to change the policy concerning source packages.
It would be nice if someone could come up with a draft of the new text
that we should include in the Policy Manual so that it can be discussed
here on debian-devel.
