By the way, did you hear about the original roll-out for Web TV? Sony
had bought the rights to Woody Woodpecker to make him the mascot of
Web TV. They had the character set up to be your "guide" through web TV,
putting up animated dialogue in various places. The trouble is, they
didn't quite understand coloquial English. In their ad for this, they
had a banner headline "Hit the web with Woody, the Internet Pecker!".
