mysterious dpkg-source problem on NFS mounted directory
Hi folks!
schwarz@klee:~/tmp/tst$ dpkg-source -x \
/ftp/pub/linux/Debian.local/hypermail_1.02*dsc
dpkg-source: extracting hypermail in hypermail-1.02
2 out of 2 hunks failed--saving rejects to Makefile.rej
3 out of 3 hunks failed--saving rejects to config.h.rej
dpkg-source: failure: patch gave error exit status 5
schwarz@klee:~/tmp/tst$
Note that the home directory is mounted via NFS. Both systems use Debian,
the server 1.2.6 and the client the latest unstable version.
When I do the same in a local directory everything is fine--so hypermail
shouldn't be a problem.
I tried several other Debian source packages--some of them work, others
don't.
I tried running `strace' and discovered several "ESPIPE (Illegal seek)"
errors. The whole strace output is a bit large to post here, but if
someone wants to have it I can provide a gzipped version of it.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Chris
