Re: Possible solution to Local dependency satisfaction

Here is an example ascii package. Feed that into asc2deb and then you can
install it (You may want to customize some things first):

#!/usr/bin/asc2debinst
2.0
%conffiles
/etc/init.d/exim
%control
Package: mailer
Version: 0.01
Architecture: all
Provides: mail-transport-agent
Description: Local Mailer
%data
begin 644 /dev/stdout
M'XL(`-5?ZC(``^W!`0T```#"H/=/;0XWH````````````(`W`YK>'2<`*```
`
end

Ok. I will include that sample in the package adpkg that I generated this
morning. Perhaps that will help?

Exactly.
