Hi,

I write you as the maintainer of amd debian package.
Only one suggestion:

I feel that amd should be in /sbin
because might be used to automount /usr on systems
with small disks or with maitenance concerns.

I see your point, and it makes some sense to me. Just the Linux
filesystem standard allows only essential binaries into the root
filesystem, and amd isn't usually considered one of those... But maybe
I'll forward your mail to the Debian developers mailing list, for
further discussion there.
