Problem with perl upgrade from 1.1 to 1.2.x

Hello

I recently upgraded a machine from Debian 1.1 to 1.2.1. This machine had 
been happily running MiniVend (a Perl-based www package) under 1.1 for 
some time. After the upgrade Minivend stopped working and I'm beginning 
to suspect some problem with the Perl upgrade. I tried 
rebuilding/reinstalling MiniVend onto another 1.2.1 box and met the same 
problems.

The old box had Perl 5.003-2 and the new box has Perl 5.003.07-2

Anyone any ideas?
