Yes. Install libc5 5.4.7-4 or later; this fixes a problem with the shlibs
file. Alternatively, edit /var/lib/dpkg/info/libc5.shlibs (at least, I think
that's the file you need to change), but I don't guarantee that dpkg won't
barf if you do this :-)
