Bug#5014: diald won't do what I want

I'm not sure I really understand what you want to do.

+ diald brings up the line if needed. This works (right?).
+ once the line is up, it should stay up for, say, at least 10 hours.
  impulse 36000,10
  in your options files should do it.
+ if during those 10 hours the other side hangs up you want diald to redial
  (right?). I would agree that from the man page it isn't completely clear 
  that it would try to bring the line back up.

If I understand this right, and if you still think that it doesn't work, could you
send me your diald.options file so I can verify this behavior and possibly file
a bug report with the author of the package?
