Bug#2980: dip gets proxy-arp wrong

Package: netstd
Version: 2.03-1

In my syslog I see:

May 13 11:26:35 chiark dip[6541]: Szenda connecting zenda.chu.cam.ac.uk/131.111.131.173 to local server 10.0.0.1/10.0.0.1 with CSLIP6/600
May 13 11:26:38 chiark dip[6541]: found interface eth0 for proxy arp
May 13 11:26:38 chiark dip[6541]: Szenda dial-up 10.0.0.1/10.0.0.1 to remote zenda.chu.cam.ac.uk/131.111.131.173 with CSLIP6/600

However, when I look at the arp table I can see that the hardware
address has been mangled:

chiark:~> arp -a
