Yes, and the current libc5 is compiled with -D_REENTRANT, but that
doesn't help if the other libraries you need (libg++, X, Tk, etc.) are
not compiled with -D_REENTRANT. I've spoken to Stephen at least, and
I think he's going to compile the next X reentrant anyway...
