Um, will dpkg do that correctly?

Say Malcolm Beattie hacks Perl to have threads support, and so perl
ends up depending on libpthread0, won't ldconfig get terribly confused
if you move the library to a different directory, thereby rendering
perl unusable for some period of time?

I just want to make sure we're not going to shoot ourselves in the
foot here.
