Serial ports question...
Hi Everyone.
I just decided to install an old Stallion Technologies 4 port serial card I
had for fun and to test it with dialup lines - it's the 'Brumby' version.
While the card detects under Linux fine, and users can log in and work
perfectly as it were a normal serial port, I get this from the wtmp (via a 'w'):
userx ttyS0 1:28pm 154:32 0:00 0:00 -bash
usery ttyE0 3:24pm 35:18 0:00 ? -
userz ttyE1 3:44pm 15:23 0:00 ? -
It seems that it doesn't recognise the end parts for this. Is there any
particular reason why - or could it be a bug? I'm beta testing the frozen
rex distribution (which I might add is very stable) with my own 2.0.25.
Regards,
...Karl
