Right. That one comes with the pine package. The author has written the
newer imap-4 package seperate from pine with a license free enought to go
into the distribution. This alone makes it a desirable replacement to the
package produced by pine..

I now have patches to add shadow password capability in imap-4 and will
release it as soon as the details are complete.
