Bug#5395: libc 5.4.7-7 causes MH to dump core
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Package: mh
Version: 6.8.4-8
I was installing more disk last night and wanted to upgrade to the
latest e2fsprogs. This required libc5.4.7. Okay, I'd been resisting
upgrading since I've been reading the problems involved. I upgraded.
Well, now if I use any of the mh commands, they die with:
{2}[0]~/work perv:-) scan
zsh: 9604 segmentation fault (core dumped) scan
{2}[139]~/work perv:-)
So, they die with a 139 exit code. I've made the core dump available at:
<URL:ftp://ftp.daft.com/pub/debian/mh-core.libc5.4.7-7.gz>
It will stay there until the bug is closed. If I can provide anymore
information, please ask.
Darren
