I just did
waterf:~$ alien -g archie*i386.rpm
-- Unpacking archie-1.4.1-2.i386.rpm
92 blocks
Directories archie-1.4.1.orig + archie-1.4.1 prepared.
-- Automatic package debianization
-- Successfully finished
waterf:~$ cd archie*
Everything works just fine. Could you send me the binary in question so
that I can try it?
