dpkg-buildpackage problem: diff fails if images changes.
[I repost this because I haven't seen it on the list, probably because I
sent it to new-lists.debian.org :-) ]
Moi!
I have a package that contains images in the source.
Having made a change to one image, trying to build a new version, diff
fails founding changes in a binary file.
But if I modify the source I have to change the upstream version number,
which is not a great thing.
I was thinking to package the source with binaries (images, etc.)
uuencoded, so diff will not fail, but also this doesn't seem a great
idea.
What can I do?
TIA
Fabrizio
