Bug#3158: acknowledged by developer (was: most differs from man page)

This problem occurs in the version of most 4.6 (4.6-1) that I
currently have on my system.

Here's what the manual page says:

-v Display control characters as in `^A' for control
              A. Normally most does not interpret control char-
              acters.

But, if you try most on some text with a control A in it, it will be
displayed as ^A even if the -v option is not used.

[Was I supposed test this and get back to you on this? If so, I think
it took me so long to get a copy of most 4.6-1 that I'd forgotten about
the issue by the time I got a copy of it.]

If the program can't be fixed, perhaps you could recommend to the
upstream maintainer that the documentation is incorrect?
