dpkg-gencontrol error during dpkg-buildpackage
Hi. I'm trying to implement the new packaging format on some
relatively simple packages, but I've hit an error that I don't
understand:
Excerpt:
(...)
cp debian/changelog debian/tmp/usr/doc/xsysinfo/changelog.Debian
cp README debian/tmp/usr/doc/xsysinfo/changelog
gzip -9v debian/tmp/usr/doc/xsysinfo/changelog{,.Debian}
debian/tmp/usr/doc/xsysinfo/changelog: 57.0% -- replaced with
debian/tmp/usr/doc/xsysinfo/changelog.gz
debian/tmp/usr/doc/xsysinfo/changelog.Debian: 44.0% -- replaced with
debian/tmp/usr/doc/xsysinfo/changelog.Debian.gz
gzip -9v debian/tmp/usr/X11R6/man/man1/xsysinfo.1x
debian/tmp/usr/X11R6/man/man1/xsysinfo.1x: 20.5% -- replaced with
debian/tmp/usr/X11R6/man/man1/xsysinfo.1x.gz
dpkg-shlibdeps xsysinfo
dpkg-gencontrol
dpkg-gencontrol: error: control file must have at least one binary
package part
make: *** [binary-arch] Error 29
I'd appreciate any insight into this error message.
Thanks. Syrus.
