Yes, somebody noticed a post made on comp.os.linux.misc, which stated
that InfoZip were happy to see zip/unzip in the distribution. This
was reported through the bug tracking system, I got in touch with
InfoZip, and they sent me an email (which had been sent earlier to
the project leaders; it probably got lost somewhere amongst the
flood :-) explicitely giving Debian permission to distribute those
programs.

unzip has been caught up in a slight bug in dinstall, and as a result,
the version in misc doesn't have the email in the copyright. I'll
re-upload the changes file as soon as I can find it. :-)

It's possible...but my understanding is that stable is only supposed
to change with serious bugfixes/security fixes. Debian 1.2 should be
released soonish (meaning I don't know when :-), so this will probably
be a non-issue by the end of the year.

I'd prefer to keep things as they are in this regard...anybody else
want to say something about it?
