Good. I have made a package mkboot that just takes a kernel and a ramdisk
image and generates the following boot possibilities generating one or
no disks.
- lilo from one fd
- fdos+loadlin from one fd
- loadlin from hd
- kernel loader from one fd
+ syslinux when available
Perhaps we could split the whole thing. I could do the bare boot stuff and
you could do the high level root-floppy contents? It just need to call
the mkboot script with a few parameters to generate the boot possibilities
of ones choice. If you dont have time then I will take over the
boot-floppies and make them floppy independant.
