I solved this by copying the binary from util-linux_2.5-4.deb over the
binary
from util-linux_2.5-5.deb, and everything was fine...
I am using Debian 1.1, patched up to everything in the experimental
distribution as of August 24, 1996, with kernel version 2.0.14 and
libc.so.5.2.18 from libc5.5.2.18-10.deb.
