Strictly speaking, if you install the 3.1.2E server, you're supposed to
install the 3.1.2D libs as well - 3.1.2D was a complete replacement for
3.1.2, and 3.1.2E is supposed to be a drop-in server replacement for the
3.1.2D server when it expired.

That's what I'm carping on about. :-)
