Two other points:
1. Sign own key!  Without this protection, others can change the
   descriptive text on your key.
2. Add your key to the keyservers.  This allows folks to automatically
grab your key when they need it, compare it to your key fingerprint and
use it if it matches.  Using the keyserver is really easy, just send an e-mail message to
<pgp-public-keys@pgp.ai.mit.edu> with a subject line of "ADD" and a
body containing your public key block. (Mailcrypt allows you to do this
really easy, just use C-c / x).
