Re: /etc/sysconf ? /etc/<somethingelse> ?

I don't have a problem with /etc/default, and if there is precedent for
it that is all the better. I found Miquel's use of /etc/default in the latest
sysvinit (to move configuration out of the scripts in /etc/init.d)
to be an improvement over the way we handled it previously.
