Bug#3131: kernel package...

Hi,

The new scripts (just uploaded to master) now do offer to make
a bootdisk and run lilo even if the versions of the image being
installed and the running kernel are the same. (Though I think people
installing their own kernels should know better not to run lilo
without the postinst prompting them).

The installkernel program is a general purpuse script, the
postinst has an advantage because it _is_ a debian postinst script,
and knows it, and also is edited in place by debian.rules, which make
it cleaner. I think it currently offers a superset of the
functionality in installkernel, and I track any changes to that
script.
