Who is the current maintainer? You are still listed as the maintainer
for cron in the Packages file...
The filereaper script can be packaged separately later - it does not
depend on cron. It's just a daemon started at boot time, which starts
cleaning up old files in specified directories when free space is low.
I think it is important to release a new cron package with workaround
(insecure commands removed from /etc/cron.daily/standard) urgently.
