xfig/tranfig: test upgrade

Hi, all,

After not recieving any input as to whether I should upgrade xfig
upstream source, and thereby removing one known bug, at the cost
of possibly introducing several others before the 1.1 release,
I gone ahead and made xfig-3.1.4-1, and transfig-3.1.2-1.

These versions are realy nice in that they allow you to import
screen shots/jpeg pictures (and export them).

To help me to decide whether I should upload these versoins to master,
I would like to have a few "beta" testers try it out before it
becomes part of the main debian distribution, to help persuade me
this upstream upgrade doesn't introduce too many bugs.

(I know, "unstable" is supposed to be for beta testers, but it's
becomming stable now, and we're not supposed to do anything bug
bugfixes at the moment -- but maybe I should upload anyway, and
just go back to the old version if I recieve bug reports?)

So, I've put them at:

ftp://rulcmc.leidenuniv.nl/joost/

Please, could a few xfig users try this out (and email me
with their results, both positive and negative?)

Thanks.

BTW they currently also have GIF support -- I'll remove that before
I'm going to upload it to master, if ever.
