_IF_ you are going to restrict time zone choice to cities, then you
really need to get at least one city in each state in the US unless
you want to get bug reports on this from now until the day Linux falls
off the face of the earth. I live in Miami, and had to choose _New
York_ (some 1200 miles away), because the coverage of cities is so
thin.

I know the US is sort of egotistical seeming about this, but the US is
also _big_, and we _have_ taken the time to educate our populace about
time zones (if only so they can be sure to catch their favorite
television shows no matter where they travel :-().

If, by SystemV, you mean bringing back US/Eastern and so forth, that
would be more than satisfactory, since at least on my Solaris 2.3 box,
it lists:

Alaska Central Hawaii Pacific Yukon
Aleutian East-Indiana Michigan Pacific-New
Arizona Eastern Mountain Samoa

Which I believe gets all the standards, as well as the exceptions.

Mike.
