Taking "ls -l" on /etc/init.d/halt (for example) shows
-rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 707 Apr 18 22:43 /etc/init.d/halt
This is not a soft link and the link count is one. Maybe I'm being
obtuse, but how is this correct?
