Just to add to my prior bug report on libjpeg---in addition to not
having the pieces necessary to compile, the whole package isn't set up
correctly.

1) The soname should be encoded into the package name in order to
insure that multiple version can coexist.

2) It needs to be divided into two parts, libjpeg6 and libjpeg6-dev
which have the shared library and the headers and .so links,
respectively.

Until then, it's a upgrade problem waiting to happen.
