Package: xbase Maintainer: Stephen Early <sde1000@cam.ac.uk> Version: 3.1.2-6 Has the issue of /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/app-defaults being under /usr ever been discussed? I was wondering if there was a reason that Debian does not put in /etc/app-defaults or a /var/ directory that would allow people who run off CDRoms to edit their configurations. Jim
