Bug#2523: configuring netstd 2.01-1 freezes up dpkg
Package: netstd
Version: 2.01-1
I was upgrading from netstd 1.25 and when it got to setting up it just froze
up. Checking out what processes were running I saw that a perl process
that was running /var/lib/dpkg/info/netstd.postinst was out of control, i.e
using all the CPU it could get it's greedy hands on. :)
I broke out with a control c and tried again and the same thing happened.
The only way I could get it to install properly was to delete the
info/netstd.postinst file and then 'dpkg --configure netstd'.
This was on a 386dx40 running 1.3.68 and all the latest ELF libraries.
