Well, what can I say?

boot=/dev/sdb2
root=/dev/sdb2
compact
install=/boot/boot.b
map=/boot/map
vga=normal
delay=20
image=/vmlinuz
label=Linux
read-only

This beast *is* started by the OS/2 Boot Manager. I never had any problems
whatsoever with it.

(And the BM will also start OSes, including Linux, from extended
partitions. I had that setup for a long time. Also no problems
whatsoever.)

I *did* have some problems with old versions of Lilo booting OS/2. Of
course, who really needs that anyway?
