Should be fixed in minicom-1.74, which isn't available as a binary debian
package yet but the source package that is on the ftp sites (eg sunsite),
minicom-1.74.tar.gz, _is_ a debian package. I'll see if I can upload
a binary version to ftp.debian.org one of these days (pretty hard to get in).
