Looking for new miscutils, chfn maintainer
I'm looking for someone to take over chfn and miscutils. When I
volunteered to take over these packages, I expected to have a great deal
of spare time to work on them. Unfortunately, things haven't worked out
that way.
Miscutils needs to be split up and reorganized, has a number of
outstanding bug reports, and I'm afraid that I can't do it justice at
the moment. Michael Meskes is working on replacement floppy utilities,
for example, and I can't give him adequate attention right now to keep
the ball rolling...
chfn doesn't really need any work, but it probably belongs with a few of
the Miscutils packages.
If anyone has enough time to do some serious work on these packages,
please let me know.
As a side note, I'd like to thank all the Debian maintainers for all the
excellent work they've done. I'm impressed! :)
