Yes. It uses SLang. The authors claim it does a better screen management 
than ncurses. However, it can use ncurses too. It used a mixture of the 
two libraries in my compilation.

However, if it works, maybe it wasn't that bad idea because the 
executable is smaller. I built another one without ncurses, but I am 
thinking of leaving it as it is now, or even switch completely to 
ncurses. In that case, I will just change the depends: field.

It works for me. Even behind a firewall (with masquerade). The help file 
says that you type

cd ftp://[user@]machine[remote-dir]

If you don't specify an user, it will use your login name. So, anon-ftp is:

cd ftp://ftp@whatever.net/pub

Not completely the standard way to do it, I must admit.
