Yes, I fixed it on my machine right away. I sent the bug report so
that it would be fixed in the xbase package.

This is one area where Debian doesn't have a very good track record.
One package maintainer makes a certain set of customizations, then
hands the package off to another maintainer who makes another set of
customizations. The result is that things break for our users. :-/
