bug-list feature request

I'd like to have some additional status connected with a bug submission. The
maintainer could mark the bug "acknowleged", and it would remain on the bug
list until the maintainer marked it "done". That way we'd have some feedback
that someone had acknowledged responsibility for the bug, but it was still
open.
