Exactly david.  If I login as buster, type "cd /" it'll take me to the
/ directory of ftp.debian.org.  Then I must go into "/debian.org/ftp/
debian" to get back there (or I guess a cd ~).  In other words Matthew,
I can check out the passwd files etc etc.

changing the mirror program so that it's path is "debian/" instead of
"/debian" does fix this, however I'd say that MOST mirrors would be
trying for "/debian" to mirror and therefore the only thinh in /debian is
a "ftpadmin" directory.  Perhaps we could try a hard link or someting?
