Bug#1422: mount(8) gives stupid error message

richard@muskogee:~$ mount /floppy/
mount: wrong fs type or bad superblock on /dev/fd0
richard@muskogee:~$ su -c 'pico /etc/fstab'
richard@muskogee:~$ grep floppy /etc/fstab
/dev/fd0                /floppy         msdos   user,noauto,async,rw,gid=25,uid=0 0       0
richard@muskogee:~$ mount /floppy/

(The difference is `aync' versus `async', and the error message ought
to reflect this - it shouldn't make me start worrying that the disk is
