Bug#1382: rcs not recognized by dpkg

Yes. The main symptom of the problem is that dselect/dpkg complains
that rcs has not been configured when I try to install cvs. When I
say "marked" I'm refering to the flags in the "Select" listing. I
could not find an explanation of these three characters (it's probably
there somewhere--I didn't look very hard). I did notice that all the
other packages got a "*" in the first column once they had been
configured. This does not happen with rcs.

I didn't try this. I was running dselect on my friend's new pentium.
Unfortunately, my own machine it completely dead. :-( I won't be able
to get back to this until the weekend. I'll try configuring by hand
then.

The "configure" option didn't display any messages at all regarding
rcs.

You're right, of course. I'll double check this weekend to make sure
I didn't miss something.
