I agree completly. While I think it is important for an editor to be
available, and I happen to like vi as a "small" editor, we have to
look out for the fact that a lot of installers will be new users of
Unix. To the folks who want vi: Hackers who know vi will probably be
able to handle pico or joe or ee without _too_ much difficulty, right?
Can we say that new users will be able to handle vi? I don't think
