ELF library maintainers needed

As some of you know, H.J. Lu has dropped support for all but libc and
libm in his recent ELF packages.  He is currently looking for
volunteers to take over support of the definitive Linux version of the
other libraries.  So far, only a few people have expressed mild
interest.  I know ncurses is still unclaimed and possibly gdbm and db
also.  Are any Debian developers interested in picking up these
packages?
