Could we have unknown horizons 2017.1 maybe targetted to experimental ?

Hi all,

Few days ago came to know unknown-horizons had a new release.

and saw that it has a huge changelog -

And anyways we are into full-freeze so don't think we can target the
new version to the upcoming stable/stretch .

I did take a peek to see that Markus Koschany had done some git work
and upload recently -

I have no idea how much work would it entail but would be willing to
be a guinea-pig/tester if somebody does decide to package.

If there is positivity of it being done, would file a WNPP RFP for the same.
