Nice! It's good to hear Lugaru is still going strong.

Regarding the Debian packaging, I have not been playing Lugaru for a
long while, and are somewhat unlikely to remain very involved in its
future progress. Therefore I'm very open if someone else with more
long-term motivation would like to maintain its package.

I do intend to work on packaging v1.1 though, and have already started
doing some meta-cleanup.

This will be a great help, and given that the current Debian packaging
is still based on a hacky importing workflow from mercurial into Git,
this sounds like a good time to also clean this up and start from the
new upstream.

Regarding this, the openlugaru package was originally called lugaru,
but based on feedback from Wolfire Games, it was renamed in order to
clearly distinguish this version from the official Lugaru HD as
distributed by Wolfire Games[7].

Has there been any further development with regards to the "trademark"
in that OSS Lugaru now has permission from Wolfire Games to use the
official "Lugaru"/"Lugaru HD" name?

The blog post by Wolfire Games[6] do promote "OSS Lugaru HD", but
distinctly under that name with the "OSS" prefix.

If that is not the case I would definitely keep the Debian naming as is
(or potentially rename from openlugaru->osslugaru to match current
upstream naming).
