I don't understand your second sentence. I think the confusion stems from the fact that someone else gave you the impression in the past wake6 would be some kind of free replacement for the whole sauerbraten game. In fact wake6 is just a map with textures and geometry information. That's all. I don't intend to package non-free maps like wake2 and wake5 from the same guy and I'm not sure why you came up with the idea in the first place. It is probably not worth the time to ask for relicensing the two other maps because there are plenty of free alternatives already. That's what I tried to imply with my second sentence. First of all not all content in sauerbraten-data is non-free. You can also find a lot of free assets at the main community site: http://quadropolis.us/ In phase 1 I would like to think of wake6 simply as a pretty cool and interesting free map and perhaps it makes sense to extend the package with additional information about map creation. That seems doable in a short amount of time. Since mapping and modding are related to the engine, I thought of a new package name that is closely related to the name of the engine. In phase 2 I will investigate this game here: https://github.com/kripken/BananaBread The authors promise free art assets on top of the cube2 engine. This might be the free game we are looking for.
