I'd add: remove oneself from the Uploaders: field in the control file, at least in the vcs, and if possible push that out to the archive (depending on complexity of package, package size, any other pending changes, time of year wrt freeze) so it is reflected in pts, qa etc. (Even if that means no Uploaders field remains which is a policy bug iirc)
