We are currently working on an "Example Suite" that will show off a
bit of OpenMW without having to use Morrowind assets. It will go under
and forgiving "Create Commons" license. You have a look at yourself at
a snapshot from a few months ago here:
http://www.mindwerks.net/2013/02/introducing-worldsynth-for-your-world-building-needs/
At the bottom is a link to the OpenMW.esm

In addition to that we are also working on OpenCS (Construction Set),
to be able to build your own mods and eventually worlds as well.

There are plans for a multi-platform installer for Morrowind as to
make it easier to be used with OpenMW without the necessity using wine
or Windows.

We replaced this non-free font a year ago with :
EBGaramond-Regular.ttf
DejaVuLGCSansMono.ttf

We fall-back to DejaVu if EBGarmond is not available. They will not be
included in the deb packages in the future.
