This is part of why the quake3-data part of game-data-packager will
accept either a CD mount-point or the full path to pak0.pk3 as input -
if you already have quake3-data installed, you have an installed copy of
pak0.pk3 which will do nicely :-)
(It's also more convenient if, like me, you have a laptop with no
optical drive, but you can fetch the pk3 or the entire CD contents from
a machine that does have one.)
